Project Description :
The route is 23 kilometers long and has 16 stations with elevated structure throughout stations. The project starts from Bang Yai, a northwestern district of Bangkok, then crosses under the Chao Phraya River at Phra Nang Klao Bridge then goes along Ratana Thibed Road to Nonthaburi Intersection and Wongsawang Intersection. Next, the route runs along Pracharat Road and merges with the Blue Line (Bang Sue-Tha Phra Section) at Tao Poon Intersection. It then merges with the Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line at Bang Sue Station at the end of this section.
Main Performance :
- Review and revise existing tender documents for civil works and M&E works for international competitive bidding.
- Review and separate trackwork from existing M&E works.
- Prepare prequalification documents for civil works, trackwork and M&E works.
- Review existing feasibility study report.
- Prepare feasibility study report and evaluation of the project in accordance with NESDB announcement dated 13 January 1993 and recommend appropriate private sectors participation patterns.
- Prepare invitation documents and evaluation criteria for contractors and private investors.
- Select contractors for civil works and trackwork, assist MRTA in negotiation including draft construction contracts preparation.
- Select private investors for M&E works, assist MRTA in negotiation including draft investment contracts preparation.
- Prepare conceptual drawings for modification of entrances and exits at stations.
- Review and revise existing drawings and produce addenda to tender documents.
