Project Description :
- The bridge structure consists of prestress concrete box girders.
- The foundations are made up of bore piles each one being two meters in diameter.
- The lengths of the bridge abutments are 60 meters, 80 meters and 110 meters. The 110-meter abutments are the PC Sail Types, which resembles a wai.
- The main bridge is a two-lane roadway; each lane is 4.25 meters in width with a further 1.50-meter wide sidewalk.
- The two-lane connecting road on the Laotian side is 1,864 meters long and ends at Route 9.
- The four-lane connecting road on the Thai side is 520 meters long and ends at Highway 212.
- There are two 110-meter wide navigation channels integrated into the bridge allowing clearance for vessels traveling on the Mekong River.
- Border Control Facilities are on Thailand side and Lao PDR side
