Project Description :
The Phuket Mass Transit System Project, Phase 1, alignment starts from Phuket International Airport Station and ends at Chalong Station, covering the distance of 42 km in total. From the origin station of Phuket International Airport, the alignment heads along Highways 4031 and 4026 to meet Highway 402. After that, it will turn right, using Highway 402 median, to pass through Thao Thep Krasattri – Thao Si Sunthon Monument, Bang Ku Junction and direct southward along Highway 402 to enter Phuket Municipality. Then, the alignment will turn right, crossing Thep Sri Sin Bridge (Koh Pee Bridge) and turn left to Highway 4021 (Chaofa (East) Road), heading to Chalong Station, which is located close to Chalong Intersection respectively.
There are 21 stations totally in the Project, which consist of 19 at-grade, 1 elevated and 1 subway stations.
Main Performance :
Part 1
Review the feasibility study, prepare the study and analysis report on a public-private partnership (PPP) for Phuket Mass Transit System Project and act as a Consultant as specified in the Act for Private Investments in State Undertakings B.E. 2556 (2013), Chapter 4 (Project Proposal).
Part 2
Prepare tender documents to select contractors and/or private investments for civil works, M&E works, maintenance works and train operation works and act as a Consultant as specified in the Act for Private Investments in State Undertakings B.E. 2556 (2013), Chapter 5 (Project Implementation).
