BANGKOK MASS TRANSIT YELLOW LINE PROJECT : LAT PHRAO - SAMRONG SECTION

 


Detailed Narrative Description of Project :

The Yellow Line Project : Lat Phrao – Samrong Section is the monorail system on elevated structures.  The system capacity is 24,000 passengers/hour/direction. The route originates at Ratchada station at Ratchada/Lat Phrao intersection and runs along Lat Phrao road to Bang Kapi intersection. Then, the alignment will turn right toward south on Srinakarindra road until it reaches Si Thepha intersection. Afterward, it will turn west onto Thepharak road to end at Samrong intersection. The total length is about 30 kilometers consisting of 23 stations 1 depot and 1 park and ride building. There are 4 interchange stations that the passengers can transfer to the other mass rapid transit lines as follows, Ratchada Station with Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line, Lam Sali Station with Orange Line, Phatthanakan Station with Airport Rail Link and Samrong Station with Green Line respectively.

Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided :

Review the feasibility study, design, prepare the tender documents for construction contracts, prepare the tender documents for operation and maintenance bids and other relevant reports including assisting MRTA on evaluation of contractors and/or private participation for the Yellow Line Project.
