IMPACT STUDY ON BRIDGES OVER THE CHAO PHRAYA RIVER AND EXPRESSWAYS

 
AEC was retained by a Japanese firm contracted by the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund of Japan to carry out a post evaluation study of the Chao Phraya river bridges and Bangkok expressways.  The objective of the study was to evaluate the direct and indirect economic and social consequences in order to determine the direction of future transportation development in the Bangkok area.  The bridges and expressways investigated were the Sathorn Bridge, New Memorial Bridge, Phra Pinklao Bridge, Pathum Thani Bridge, Nonthaburi Bridge, Din Daeng-Port Expressway and the Bang Na-Port Expressway.
