STUDY AND DETAILED DESIGN FOR NORTH-BOUND TRAIN SYSTEM IN BANGKOK (BANG SUE – RANGSIT) AND BANG SUE TRAIN STATION (NTBR)

   

The project comprise the long distance train system, the commuter train system, long distance train Depot and workshop, Bang Sue Station, and the 4 intermediate stations along the project route.  It starts at Bang Sue station and finish at Rangsit station.  The rail tracks are on the elevated structure from Bang Sue to Don Muang and will decent to at grade after Don Muang to Rangsit, total length 22.5 km.  Approximated engineering cost estimate is 46,000 MB excluding the rolling stock cost.

Detailed Description of Actual Services provided :

  1. Manage the review, analysis and overview of northern / eastern / western / Mae Klong line connection.  Study of station development and around station within 500 meters radius.  Review, analysis and assessment of demand forecast.  Study of investment plan and legal concerns.
  2. Manage the current status of environmental resources.  Assessment of environmental impact.  Suggestion for pollution counter measure.  Proposal of follow-up method.  Encouragement of public participation. Public relations.
  3. Topographic survey. Preparation of topographic map.  Survey and inspection of geological foundation.  Detailed design of horizontal and vertical alignment of Bang Sue – Rangsit, viaduct, stations, track layout, telecommunication and traffic control systems, and local road.  Cost estimation. Preparation of technical specification, construction plan, bidding documents, TOR and draft contract for consultant for tender assistance and construction supervision.
  4. Detailed design of Bang Sue station and station yard in compliance with Bangkok Metropolitan Transportation Hub Study.  Cost estimation.  Preparation of construction plan, and bidding documents for Bang Sue station and its components.
